Jamie England

Jamie proudly joined Ruppert Grows as its first President in 2023, and also serves as Secretary of the Ruppert Grows Board. Jamie manages the daily operations of the office on behalf of the principals, Craig and Pat Ruppert. Jamie handles special projects such as succession, tax and wealth transfer planning, as well as investment review and strategy. Jamie works closely with senior leadership of the various operating entities as well as outside investment, tax, legal and business advisors to surround the Ruppert family with comprehensive support and guidance. Jamie is also an active Trustee on the Board of Trustees of the Sandy Spring Friends School. Prior to joining Ruppert Grows, Jamie was a Senior Trust advisor at Northern Trust in their Washington, D.C. office. As part of a senior multi-disciplinary team, Jamie counseled high net worth net worth clients on a variety of fiduciary, estate, trust, tax and investment and banking matters. Before joining Northern Trust, Jamie served as Deputy Chief Fiduciary Office for Sandy Spring Trust, a division of Sandy Spring Bank, where she worked for over 5 years. Jamie has extensive experience in fiduciary matters and risk management, complex trust and estate administration, and providing financial education to individuals and families.

Jamie received both her law degree and her undergraduate business degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining Sandy Spring Trust, Jamie was in private practice as attorney at a boutique firm in Pittsburgh. Jamie also has unique experience in real estate, as she once served as the sole property manager for two multi-family residential properties that totaled over 200 units (while also a full-time college student). During her first semester of law school, Jamie invested in her own 3-unit residential property in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh, which she owned and managed for 10 years. Jamie now lives in Montgomery County, Maryland with her husband, their two children and two rescue dogs. Jamie is a high-energy people person that, in her spare time, enjoys tennis, cycling, reading and interior design.
