Lilah Malai
Staff Accountant
Lilah Malai joined Ruppert Grows in 2025 as a Staff Accountant, bringing with her a strong foundation in financial reporting and project accounting. In her role, she supports a wide range of financial operations across many Ruppert entities. Lilah also plays a key role in tax coordination, working with external advisors to ensure accurate and timely filings, and contributes to strategic initiatives such as cash flow management and financial technology enhancements.
Before joining Ruppert Grows, Lilah held accounting roles in the architecture and food distribution industries, where she led efforts in project billing, budgeting, and system integrations. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Towson University and brings a keen attention to detail, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset to her work. Originally from Tanzania, Lilah now lives in Germantown, Maryland with her husband, Newton. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, reading historical fiction and African literature, and rewatching her favorite films, including Sarafina! and the Harry Potter series.
